Granting access to your CMS Platform

Here’s a cheat sheet for how to grant OMDIGI Group access to your CMS platform. If you still have questions or are unsure, please reach out to your point of contact and we can assist!

Which CMS Platform does your business use?

If you use another platform besides these, please click here.

WordPress

1. Login to your website as an administrator and click on Users > Add New from the left hand admin menu.
2. The most important two fields on this page are the Email and the Role, that need to be set as mcc@omdigigroup.com and Administrator, respectively. You can add in the other fields at your discretion.
3. Click Add New User. Once this has occurred, we will be able to process the login.

Shopify

For a Shopify site, we will request Collaborator Access via Shopify, and will send you an email to let you know that we’ve done so. Please accept our request and reply to the email to confirm that you have processed the request. If you’re unsure and want to read further documentation, please check out the manual on Shopify’s Help Site.

BigCommerce

The Store Owner or a System Admin can create/delete users and grant permissions.

1. While logged in as a store owner, go to Account Settings and then navigate to Users.
2. Click on Create a User Account
3. Enter the new user’s email address as mcc@omdigigroup.com, and then set the account status to Active.
4. When adding a new user, select Store Administrator as the User Role
5. Please let us know at mcc@omdigigroup.com that access has been granted. We will then confirm receipt of the access invite via email.

Squarespace

The Store Owner or a System Admin can create/delete users and grant permissions.

1. While logged in as store owner, open the Permissions panel and click Invite Contributor.
2. In the Invite Contributor window, enter the name as OMDIGI and email address as mcc@omdigigroup.com
3. Switch on the Administrator toggle.
4. Click Invite to send the invitation.
5. OMDIGI will receive an email invitation.

Wix

1. Go to Roles & Permissions
2. Click Invite People
3. Enter mcc@omdigigroup.com in the email address field.
4. Select the Website Manager checkbox
5. Click Send Invite

Maropost Commerce Cloud (Neto)

To create a new staff user account:

1. In your Maropost Commerce control panel navigate to Settings & Tools and then Staff Users.
2. Click the Add New button.
3. Enter OMDIGI in the Username
4. Enter OMDIGI in the Name fields. In the Email Address field enter mcc@omdigigroup.com
5. Enter a Password. Passwords must be 9-25 characters long and have a number, upper, lower, and special character.
6. Set the Status to Active from the dropdown menu
7. Set the User Permission Group to Admin User from the dropdown
8. Click the Save & Close button to complete.

Square

1. Go to Roles and Permissions
2. Click Invite People
3. Enter mcc@omdigigroup.com in the email address field.
4. Select the Website Manager checkbox
5. Click Send Invite

Other CMS Platforms

If you are using a different content management system, please have a look online for how to add a user. However, if this isn’t possible, or you have an entirely custom-built site, OMDIGI requires access to your FTP and cPanel in order to make any changes. Don’t worry, we won’t make any changes without prior consultation with you.
